About Us (Pachmarhi Tribal Art)

Pachmarhi Tribal Art is an exciting initiative designed to elevate our city’s reputation and make it a recognized cultural hub.
Pachmarhi, part of the Satpura Range, is closely linked to the tribal communities that have lived here for centuries. The rock paintings on the sandstone mountains of the Gondwana range serve as vital historical records that reflect tribal life and heritage. Unfortunately, these invaluable artworks are at risk due to inadequate preservation efforts. To raise awareness about this issue, I have initiated a project that prints these rock paintings on clothing using traditional, natural methods. My designs also feature the wildlife and plants found here, alongside various craft-related products. Through this initiative, I aim to highlight the unique tribal art of Pachmarhi and advocate for its preservation, ensuring this cultural heritage endures for future generations.
